Measurements:
Pour the condensed milk into a 350ml canning jar and close the lid. Alternatively for the cheesecakes, divide the condensed milk evenly among 6 x 240ml canning jars and close the lids.
Attach the HydroPro to the side of a pot or large vessel (max 45 liters). Place the jar in the vessel and weigh them down to prevent floating. Fill with warm tap water halfway between the minimum and maximum lines. Set the temperature to 90°C and the time to 10hrs using the Sous Vide Toolbox and press Start.
When the timer signals that the dulce de leche is done, carefully remove the jar(s) from the water bath and allow to cool to room temperature. Place in the refrigerator to cool completely.
Caramel nirvana has been completed! Use it in frostings, add it to smoothies, spoon over ice cream or spread it on toast. Use as a dip, swirl into brownie batter or use it to make our Dulce de Leche Cheesecakes.
