
Air-Fried Chinese Five Spice Chicken Wings
Use this recipe as a base for many flavor variations by swapping out the spices to whatever you have on hand. The secret ingredient is the milk powder, which enhances browning and crispiness as well as giving the wings their wonderful, caramelized skin.

Ingredients
Measurements:
- 3 lb chicken wing drumettes and flats (party wings)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1½ tsp Chinese five spice powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1¼ tsp kosher salt
- 1 tbsp milk powder
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Thinly sliced green onion
to serve
- Thinly sliced hot red chili pepper
to serve
- Hoisin sauce
to serve
- Cucumber

Instructions
- 1Insert the wire rack into position 7, place the roasting pan on the rack so it sits beneath the basket to catch any drips during cooking. Place the air fry basket into rack position 3. Meanwhile, continue to the next step.
- 2Place the wings on paper towels and pat dry to remove any excess moisture.
- 3Place all the ingredients listed below in a large bowl and whisk to combine. Add the wings and toss to coat.
- 4Once preheated, carefully place the wings in the basket, evenly spaced apart and start Autopilot.
- 5The wings should be browned and cooked through. If not, give it a bit more.
- 6Top the wings with green onion and chili and serve with hoisin sauce and cucumber sticks.
