Air-Fried Curry Corn Ribs

These delicious strips of sweet corn are coated in spices and air-fried to make a heathy snack or finger food. Or make it your own by using your favorite spices.

  • 3 ears of corn on the cob

    husks and silk removed

  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp ground cumin

    plus extra to serve

  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Yogurt

    to serve


  • 1Insert the wire rack into position 7, place the roasting pan on the rack so it sits beneath the basket to catch any drips during cooking. Place the air fry basket into rack position 3. Meanwhile, continue to the next step.
  • 2Trim the ends from the corn, if necessary. Cut the corn in half crosswise. Place each half, standing vertically on the cutting board. Use the handle of a wooden spoon to hammer on the back of the knife to cut in half. Then, cut into quarters lengthwise.
  • 3Place the ingredients listed below in a large bowl and whisk to combine. Add the corn and toss to coat.
  • 4Once preheated, carefully place the corn in the basket, evenly spaced apart and start the timer.
  • 5The corn kernels should be tender when pierced with a knife. If not, give it a bit more.
  • 6Transfer the corn to a plate and serve with the yogurt sprinkled with a little cumin.
