How to automatically texture microfoam milk
Perfectly textured milk is the secret to barista-quality third wave specialty coffee. It balances the espresso flavor, bringing out the nuanced flavors and smoothing out any bitterness while producing a silky texture and velvety mouthfeel. The Bambino® Plus makes texturing your milk a simple process. Before you begin, we recommend purging the steam wand to remove any residual milk from the previous coffee-making session. Purge the steam wand by pressing the 'Steam' button, which will allow steam to build to full pressure. Then press again to stop the flow of steam. Next, wipe down the steam wand with a clean, damp cloth to remove any residue. With the steam wand clean, it's now time to texture your milk. Fill the milk jug with cold milk to a level between the MIN And MAX lines. Next, insert the steam wand into the jug, with the tip below the surface of the milk. First, press the 'Milk Temp' and 'Milk Foam' buttons to select your desired settings, then press 'Steam,' which will flash when texturing begins. Once the selected milk temperature is reached, the milk texturing will automatically stop.
