Ingredients
Measurements:
- 4 frozen waffles
- 2 bananas
cut into 5mm rounds
- ½ cup (125 ml) pure maple syrup
For the date pecan butter
80 g unsalted butterat room temperature
- ⅓ cup (40 g) pecans
finely chopped
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 fresh dates
pitted and finely chopped
- Pinch of flaky sea salt

To make the date pecan butter, place the butter, pecans, cinnamon, dates and salt in a bowl and mix well to combine. Set aside.

Place the frozen waffles in the toaster. Select level 4 darkness. Press Start twice, it will illuminate solid red to activate the Timer Mode.
Tip: Use the Timer Mode when toasting frozen waffles, as the sensor is designed to detect browning and may not accurately assess foods that are being reheated. - 3
Once toasted, divide the date pecan butter and banana between the waffles. Stack two waffles, drizzle with the maple syrup and serve.
