8 (1.25 kg) large carrotswashed
35 g (6cm piece) fresh turmericpeeled
25 g (4cm piece) fresh gingerpeeled
6 (1.25 kg) medium orangespeeled
1 (100 g) medium lemonpeeled
½ tsp freshly ground black pepperto garnish, optional
