This layered drink of tropical-meets-caffeinated delight, blends smooth cold brew with refreshing coconut water and a creamy matcha topping. Lightly sweetened and finished with toasted coconut flakes, it’s a vibrant, energizing sip with a hint of island flair.

Ingredients

Measurements:

1 large cold brew
120 ml coconut water
Ice cubes
to serve
Coconut flakes
toasted, to garnish

For the matcha cream”

1 tsp matcha powder
1 tbsp boiling water
50 ml heavy cream
2 tsp superfine sugar

Instructions

To make the matcha cream, combine the matcha powder and boiling water in a small glass. Allow to cool.

Meanwhile, place the cream and sugar in a liquid measuring cup. Add the cooled matcha mixture and whisk (or use a hand frother) until thick but still pouring consistency.

Fill a medium serving glass with ice. Add the cold brew and coconut water, then top with the matcha cream. Garnish with toasted coconut flakes, to serve.
