Capers, cornichons and tarragon do a tasty tango with our Essential Mayonnaise for this creamy French sauce packed with tangy flavors. We’ve served it with shrimp for the perfect appetizer, but it’s also great with burgers, grilled veggies or French fries.

½ small shallot
peeled
1 small clove garlic
peeled
40 g cornichons
2 tbsp drained capers
1 tbsp tarragon
1 tbsp flat-leaf parsley
½ cup (110 g) Essential Mayonnaise
1 tbsp cornichon juice
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
¼ tsp kosher salt
Cayenne pepper
to taste
1.4 kg cooked jumbo shrimp
peeled and deveined

Instructions

Assemble the processor with the mini bowl, teal spindle and blade in the bowl. Add the shallot, garlic, cornichons, capers, tarragon and parsley and process until finely chopped.

Add the mayonnaise, cornichon juice, lemon juice, salt and cayenne pepper and process to combine, scraping down the bowl occasionally.

Serve as a dipping sauce with the shrimp.
