Air-Fried from Frozen Tater Tots

  Insert the air fry basket into position 5. Select Phase Cook for P1 and set the oven to Bake, Super Convection, 190°C, for 20 minutes. Press Confirm for P2, set the oven to Bake, Super Convection, 180°C, for 16 minutes and press Start to preheat.

  Once preheated, remove the tater tots from the freezer and carefully add them to the basket, in a single layer, then cook for 20 minutes in P1. With 10 minutes remaining in P1, carefully shake the basket and continue cooking. The oven will automatically switch to P2. With 8 minutes remaining in P2, carefully turn the tater tots and shake the basket one more time.

  The tater tots should be golden brown. If not, cook them a little longer. When ready, open the oven door and slide the basket out. Allow to stand for 2 minutes before removing from the oven.

  Dressed in their golden crunchy coats with hot fluffy centers, the tots are geared up for greatness! They love their usual spot cuddled up to a hot dog or chicken wing, but there’s also a host of other dishes these little potato powerhouses like to be part of. Load them up with salsa and cheese for tater tot nachos, serve with roast chicken or sprinkle over salads as a crunchy potato crouton!
