Ingredients


Measurements:

  • active dried yeast icon
    1 tbsp active dried yeast
  • caster sugar icon
    1 tbsp caster sugar
  • olive oil icon
    1 tbsp olive oil
  • warm water icon
    1 cup (240 ml) warm water
  • bread flour icon
    3 cups (450 g) bread flour
  • salt icon
    1 tbsp salt

Instructions

    Place the yeast, sugar, oil and water in a large bowl and stir to combine.

    Assemble the mixer using the mixing bowl and dough hook. Add the flour to the bowl. Turn the mixer to Fold/Knead setting. Add the yeast mixture and knead for 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

    Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover and rest in a warm place for 30 minutes, or until the dough has doubled in size.

  • 4

    Turn the dough out onto a floured benchtop. Knock back the dough to remove excess air, then lightly knead until smooth.

  • 5

    For thin crust, divide the dough into 4 even dough balls.

  • 6

    For thicker crust, divide the dough into 2 even dough balls.
