Beef and Cheese Meatballs with Burger Sauce

For the meatballs
5¼ oz cheddar cheese
1 lb beef rumpchilled, cut into 1-inch pieces
½ tsp kosher salt
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Freshly ground black pepperto season
½ cup (1 oz) panko breadcrumbs
1 large egg
For the burger sauce
½ cup (3¾ oz) mayonnaise
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 dill picklefinely chopped
1 tsp pickle juice
1 tsp sugar
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
Instructions
- 1Assemble the processor with the grey spindle and yellow reversible shredder, with the coarse side up in the bowl and shred the cheese. Remove from the bowl and set aside.
- 2Carefully assemble the processor with the grey spindle and green S-blade in the bowl. Add the beef and process until finely chopped.
- 3Add the shredded cheese, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, breadcrumbs and egg and pulse to combine. Remove the blade and transfer the mixture to a bowl.
- 4Insert the wire rack into position 6. Set the oven to Air Fry, Super Convection, 450°F, for 10 minutes and press Start to preheat. Meanwhile, continue to the next step.Tip: Recipe has been optimized for the Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro and Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro.
- 5Roll 2 tablespoon amounts of mixture into balls. Place in the air fry basket, evenly spaced apart.
- 6Once preheated, place the roasting pan on the rack to catch any drips during cooking. Insert the basket into position 1 and air fry for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, make the sauce.
- 7To make the burger sauce, carefully assemble the cleaned processor with the grey spindle and green S-blade in the bowl. Place all the sauce ingredients in the bowl and process until combined.
- 8The meatballs should be golden brown and cooked through. If not, air fry them a little longer.
- 9Your meatballs are golden, juicy, and ready to go. Serve them up warm with a dollop of burger sauce on the side for dipping, or pop them into a mini bun for a tasty bite-sized burger. Yum!
