Question 1

I’m a beginner. Can I still use an espresso machine?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Many Breville espresso machines are designed to feel approachable from day one. Some models guide you through the process, so you can make great coffee at home without needing barista experience.

Question 2

Do I need a separate grinder, or is it built in?

Accepted Answer

Some espresso machines include a built-in grinder, which means fresher coffee and one less appliance on the bench. If your machine does not include one, pairing it with a quality burr grinder can make a noticeable difference to flavor.

Question 3

What beans should I use for the best results?

Accepted Answer

Fresh whole beans are the best place to start. Medium to dark roasts work especially well for espresso. Grinding them fresh just before brewing makes a noticeable difference in flavor, aroma, and crema.
