Air-Fried Spicy Sweet Potato Wedges
Tossed in spices and air fried, these sweet potato wedges are so much healthier and tastier than frying and make a popular snack or side dish.

Measurements:
For the wedges
1 lb sweet potatoesskin on, scrubbed
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp ground cumin
¼ tsp ground coriander
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
½ tsp kosher saltplus extra to serve
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
For the lime aioli
½ cup (3½ oz) mayonnaise
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
½ clove garlicminced
Grated lime zestto serve
Instructions
- 1Cut the potatoes into 3-inch long and 1-inch thick wedges.
- 2Insert the oven rack into position 3 Down. Set the oven to Air Fry, Super Convection, 400°F, for 30 minutes and press Start to preheat. Meanwhile, continue to the next step.
- 3Combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, coriander, cayenne, salt and pepper in a bowl.
- 4Toss the potatoes in the oil and the spice mix. Place the potatoes in a single layer, evenly spaced apart, in the air fry basket.
- 5Once preheated, place the roasting pan on the rack to catch any drips during cooking. Place the basket into position 1 and air fry for 30 minutes. When the oven signals shake the basket and continue cooking. Meanwhile, continue to the next step.
- 6To make the lime aioli, whisk together the mayonnaise, lime juice and garlic. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- 7The sweet potatoes should be well browned and cooked through. If not, press A Bit More.Tip: It may need a little more or a little less extra cooking time, best to keep an eye on it.
- 8Sprinkle the aioli with lime zest and the wedges with salt.
