Balancing your extraction
Learn the simple 4 keys formula to achieve the perfect extraction using your Bambino®. Key 1 is the perfect dose, 18-22 grams, of freshly ground beans. Key 2 is the ideal tempreature, digitally controlled at 200 degrees F to create sweet, nuanced and balanced espresso. Key 3 is a low-pressure pre-infusion, paired with a high-pressure 9-bar extraction process. This is controlled by your grind size. If your ground coffee is too coarse, the coffee will flow very quickly and be under-extracted. If it is too finely ground and the coffee is flowing very slowly, it is over-extracted. Monitor the time at which the coffee begins to flow like honey into your glass. Ideally, it should take between 8-10 seconds. Adjust your grind size for your next cup accordingly. And key 4, is silky textured milk, achieved only with perfect, high-pressure steam. You're now ready to enjoy café-quality brew right from your own home.
