Feta and Jalapeno Avocado Dip

Makes 2 cups



  • ¼ (1½ oz) small red onion


  • 2 tbsp drained pickled jalapenos
  • 2 (17½ oz) medium avocados

    peeled and chopped

  • 7 oz feta cheese

    broken into large pieces

  • ¼ cup (2 fl oz) fresh lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic


  • Freshly ground black pepper

    to season

To serve:

  • Chopped cilantro
  • Tortilla chips


  • 1Put the onion and jalapeno in the blender and secure the lid. CHOP for 8-10 seconds until chopped.
  • 2Add the avocados, feta, lime juice and garlic to the blender and secure the lid.
  • 3CHOP for 15 seconds, then MIX for 15-20 seconds until smooth, scraping down the sides and stopping occasionally to use the tamper to press the ingredients into the blades. Season with pepper.
  • 4Spoon the dip into a serving bowl, and sprinkle with cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips.
