It’s a right royal crunch fest with these golden crowns of joy! The Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro cooks them at the optimum temp and for the perfect time, so you get max crunch with a tender potato center.

We tuned this recipe using Ore-Ida Golden Crispy Crowns.

Instructions

    Insert the air fry basket into position 5. Select Phase Cook for P1 and set the oven to Bake, Super Convection, 410°F, for 14 minutes. Press Confirm for P2, set the oven to Bake, Super Convection, 345°F, for 7 minutes and press Start to preheat.

    Once preheated, remove the crowns from the freezer and carefully add them to the basket, in a single layer, then cook for 14 minutes in P1. With 5 minutes remaining in P1, carefully turn and shake the crowns and continue cooking. The oven will automatically switch to P2. With 3 minutes remaining in P2, carefully turn and shake the crowns one more time.

    The crowns should be golden brown. If not, cook them a little longer. When ready, open the oven door and slide the basket out. Allow to stand for 2 minutes before removing from the oven.

    The crowns are ready and the kingdom of crunch is yours for the taking. Great for topping or dipping, they hit the spot as a crispy snack and make the perfect sidekick to any of your favorite dishes.
