Ham and Cheese Pinwheels

  Line the pizza pan with parchment paper. Insert the wire rack into position 6. Set the oven to Bake, Convection, 375°F, for 22 minutes and press Start to preheat. Meanwhile, continue to the next step.

  Place the pastry on a board and brush with egg. Layer on the ham and cheese, leaving a 1-inch space along one long side.

  Tightly roll the pastry lengthwise to create a log.

  Cut the log into ¾ -inch thick slices. Place cut-side down, evenly spaced onto the prepared pan. Brush each pinwheel with egg.

  Once preheated, place the pan in the oven and bake for 22 minutes.

  The pinwheels should be golden brown and cooked through. If not, bake them a little longer.

  Let the pinwheels cool for a few minutes (if you can wait!) before serving warm or enjoy at room temperature. Great for lunchboxes, snacks, or sharing with friends.
