Ingredients

Measurements:

  • ice cube icon
    Ice cubes

    to serve

  • double shot espresso icon
    1 double shot espresso

    chilled

  • whole milk icon
    5 fl oz whole milk
  • dried rose petals icon
    Dried rose petals

    to garnish

For the strawberry cream

  • heavy cream icon
    2¾ fl oz heavy cream
  • strawberry puree icon
    1¾ oz strawberry puree
  • superfine sugar icon
    ½ oz superfine sugar

Instructions

  • 1To make the strawberry cream, place the cream, strawberry puree and sugar in a liquid measuring cup. Whisk (or use a hand frother) until thick but still pouring consistency.
    Tip: You can use store bought strawberry puree or make your own by blending 1 1/2 oz hulled strawberries with 2 teaspoons simple syrup and 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice, adjusted to taste.
  • 2Fill a medium-size glass with ice and pour over the chilled espresso. Top with milk, then strawberry cream. Garnish with dried rose petals to serve.
