Hawaiian Pan Pizza
Say Aloha to this deep-dish deliciousness! Chunky ham and sweet chunks of pineapple wrestle for first place with tangy tomato and melty mozzarella. A crispy, chewy crust holds it all together. It's loaded, so you might need a knife for this one.

Ingredients
Measurements:
¼ cup (2 fl oz) olive oil, plus 1 tspdivided
1 lb store-bought pizza dough
3½ oz drained pineapple chunks (in syrup)
2 tbsp cornmeal
½ cup (4 fl oz) marinara sauce
¼ tsp kosher saltor to taste
¼ tsp dried oregano
½ cup (1¾ oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
2¼ oz smoked hamcut into ½-inch pieces
1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- 1Place 1 teaspoon oil in a medium bowl. Add the dough and turn to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside in a warm place for 30 minutes, to come to room temperature. Meanwhile, continue to the next step.
- 2Insert the wire rack into position 7. Place the foil-lined roasting pan on the rack to catch any drips during cooking. Set the oven to Air Fry, Super Convection, 400°F, for 20 minutes and press Start to preheat.
- 3Place the pineapple evenly spaced in the air fry basket. Once preheated, place the basket in position 3 and air fry for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, continue to the next step.
- 4Combine ¼ cup (2 fl oz) oil and cornmeal in a small bowl and stir. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch round cake pan and tilt to evenly coat the base.
- 5The pineapple should be golden and slightly dried. If not, air fry a little longer.
- 6Remove the roasting pan from the oven. Move the wire rack to position 6 and leave the door open to allow the oven to cool for proofing. Transfer the pineapple to a plate.
- 7Place the dough in the center of the pan and push towards the edge of the pan. Place the pan in the oven. Set the oven to Proof, 100°F, for 20 minutes and press Start. Meanwhile, continue to the next step.
- 8To make the pizza sauce, place the marinara sauce, salt and oregano in a medium bowl. Stir to combine and set aside.
- 9Once the dough has proofed, gently push it out to ensure the base is a uniform thickness.
- 10Adjust the oven to Pizza, Super Convection, 400°F, for 20 minutes and press Start. Meanwhile, spread the sauce over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border. Top with half the mozzarella, the ham, pineapple, parmesan and the remaining mozzarella.
- 11Once preheated, place the pan in the oven and cook for 20 minutes.
- 12The cheese should be melted and the dough lightly browned. To test if the dough is cooked, insert a kitchen thermometer into the center of the pizza until it gently touches the dough. Pizza is ready when it reads a minimum of 190°F. If not, cook it a little longer.Tip: Ensure the thermometer doesn’t touch the pan or you’ll get an inaccurate result.
- 13Remove from the oven and allow the pizza to stand in the pan for 5 minutes to firm up.
- 14Remove the pizza from the pan. Slice and serve.
