Makes about 4 cups

Ingredients

Measurements:

  • ripe pineapple icon
    2 lb ripe pineapple

    peeled and coarsely chopped (you’ll need 1½ lb flesh)

  • piece fresh turmeric icon
    ¾ oz piece fresh turmeric
  • watermelon icon
    2¼ lb watermelon

    rind removed and coarsely chopped (you’ll need 1½ lb flesh)

  • small ruby red grapefruit icon
    1 (12 oz) small ruby red grapefruit

    peeled and pith removed, plus extra for garnish

Instructions

  • 1

    With the motor on Boost speed, place the pineapple into the feed chute and use the food pusher to gently guide the pineapple down. Repeat with the turmeric.

    Tip: To extract the maximum amount of juice, always push the food pusher down slowly.
  • 2

    Switch to Fast speed and juice the watermelon and grapefruit.

  • 3

    Stir gently to combine, then pour into chilled glasses. Garnish with grapefruit and serve immediately.
